| This paper describes studies of evaluating natural and surface modification of a zeolite with cetyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (CTAC), to investigate the adsorption efficiency for the removal of commonly drug from aqueous solution. The optimum time, adsorbent concentration and stirring time will be determineded. The obtained experimental data will be evaluated using different adsorption isotherm models in both linear and non-linear forms, and finally the best model consistent with the experimental data will be proposed. Also, different concentrations of synthetic contaminants in the adsorption process will be evaluated using different kinetic models in both linear and non-linear forms. |
